Privacy is part of how loopdee works: members trade under pseudonyms, faces stay out of photos, and sensitive details stay out of public view.
What we collect
We collect account details such as your email or phone number, private age bracket, pseudonym, illustrated avatar, preferences, listings, photos, messages, trade activity, shipping details, reports, and technical information needed for safety and reliability. Student verification documents are private and visible only to authorized reviewers.
How we use it
We use information to run your account, match and complete trades, personalize finds and styling, estimate Trade Scores, protect members, moderate content, prevent fraud, provide support, and improve loopdee. Automated systems may analyze photos, listings, and taste signals for these purposes.
What other members see
Other members see your pseudonym, illustrated avatar, listings, and activity meant for the community. Your email, phone number, legal name, exact age, student ID, and shipping address are not displayed on your public profile. Your whole closet is private unless you choose to share it.
When information is shared
We share only what is needed with providers that help us operate authentication, storage, shipping, safety, communications, analytics, and payments for optional discovery features. We may also disclose information when required by law or needed to protect people and the service. We do not sell your personal information.
Minors
loopdee is for people 16 and older. Accounts for members aged 16–17 receive additional privacy and communication protections. We do not knowingly allow accounts for children under 16.
Retention and security
We keep information only as long as needed for the service, safety, disputes, fraud prevention, and legal obligations. We use access controls and other safeguards, but no online service can promise perfect security.
Your choices
You can change profile and privacy settings, manage notifications, ask for support, and request account deletion. Some records may be retained where needed for safety, disputes, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
Policy updates
We may update this policy as loopdee changes. If an update meaningfully affects your privacy, we will provide notice and request a new acceptance when appropriate.
